The Trabuco Canyon Little League cordially invites you to our Closing Day celebrations on May 18, featuring our exciting Golf Ball Drop fundraiser. This event is not just an opportunity to win up to $2,500, but it's a vital part of our league's continuous development and success. Over the years, your generous contributions have significantly impacted various aspects of our league:

 

Equipment and Gear Upgrades:

  • Pitching Machines: We've purchased state-of-the-art pitching machines, providing our players with consistent pitches to improve their batting skills.
  • Catcher's Gear: Funds have been allocated to acquire high-quality catcher's gear, ensuring the safety and performance of our players behind the plate.

 

Facility Enhancements:

  • Snack Shack: We've completely overhauled our Snack Shack, installing a new roof and flooring, thereby improving both the aesthetics and functionality of this central hub for our players and families.
  • Field 2 Transformation: A significant project was converting Field 2 into a hybrid 50/70 field. This adaptation allows us to host intermediate, Junior, and Elite team games, offering our players a professional-level playing experience.
  • Field Maintenance: Our commitment to maintaining top-notch playing fields is evident in our comprehensive field care, including laser-leveling all fields for even playing surfaces, rebuilding pitching mounds to meet regulation standards, and replacing old bases with new, durable ones.

 

Annual Expenses:

  • Field Upkeep: Without city or county funding, our league independently shoulders over $40,000 annually in general field maintenance and upkeep. This encompasses everything from mowing and landscaping to repairing and upgrading field equipment.

 

Future Projects and Goals: With your continued support, we aim to undertake more ambitious projects to further enrich our league. These include expanding our training facilities, incorporating advanced technology for player development, and enhancing spectator areas for increased comfort and engagement.
